We detailed EA Access’ benefits a while back, but here’s a refresher. Subscribers get 10% off EA games, discounts on in-game items and DLC, early access and special trials for select games, and access to the EA Vault, which is basically EA’s digital library of games for a given platform.
All this is for $4.99 a month, or $29.99 for a year.
There’s only been one game available for an early trial so far, Anthem. However, Madden 20’s early trial opens on July 25 ahead of its August 2 launch, and FIFA 20 will getting an early trial before it launches on September 27.
The big attraction, though, is the EA Vault. Here are all the EA Access PS4 games available with a subscription:

It’s pretty easy to see the game list skews towards sports games. The Xbox One subscription supports backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 titles, which means it gets a slightly more varied catalog — more Dragon Age, more Peggle, Alice: The Madness Returns, and some other smatterings of older EA games.
It amounts to a full three additional pages of games for Xbox One in the EA Vault, so it goes without saying those who prefer sports games or just want the discounts get the better deal here.
Perhaps the catalog will grow as time goes on.
